Ship Navigation “Day Shapes” c.1940-1960

Categories: , .

Product Description

These large scale, black painted fold-up signs were hauled high in the rigging to warn other ships about the status of the vessel – the BALL means the ship is at anchor and the DIAMOND means she is either towing or being towed. Found on a decommissioned Royal Navy supply vessel, they would make amazing sea fairing garden decoration.

Price is for the PAIR

They are heavily built, but fold flat. The BALL is 37” / 93.5cm in height and the DIAMOND is 45” / 115cm.
